OVHcloud opened its first Local Zone in Auckland, New Zealand, on May 5, 2026, through a partnership with Datacentre220. The zone delivers Public Cloud services including Compute, Block and Object Storage via OpenStack with single-digit millisecond latencies for workloads such as e-commerce, CDN streaming, and cloud gaming. It provides local data residency and ISO/IEC 27001 certification to support compliance in finance, banking, healthcare, and government sectors across Australia and New Zealand.
