Mastra Releases Observability Platform for Agent Traces, Logs, and Evals

Mastra announced its hosted observability platform on May 13, 2026, for production monitoring of agents. Users export high-volume traces and logs, monitor costs and performance, search and filter runs, and convert production data into evals, datasets, and experiments via Studio. The feature builds on prior observability improvements in Mastra 1.x releases. Mastra's Alex Booker and team shared related demos in May 2026 posts. Mastra raised a $22M Series A on April 9, 2026, led by Spark Capital.

Mastra Adds Agent-to-Agent Support for Cross-Framework Multi-Agent Systems

Mastra introduced Agent-to-Agent support on May 19 2026 for building cross-framework multi-agent systems. Agents can now run A2A agents as subagents or invoke them via the Client SDK using MastraClient with baseUrl and headers. The feature requires @mastra/core@1.33.1 and @mastra/client-js@1.18.1 or later and uses agent cards at .well-known URLs to describe capabilities. Mastra released @mastra/core@1.34.0 on May 18 2026 with additional Bedrock AgentCore deployment support.
