Cisco NetAcad partnered with College Board to launch AP Cybersecurity on May 21, 2026. The course begins in the 2026-2027 school year as part of AP Career Kickstart programs and prepares students for the Cisco Certified Support Technician Cybersecurity certification. A 2025-2026 pilot reached 3,100 students across 183 schools in 30 states. Nearly 500 educators registered for AP Summer Institutes ahead of the national rollout.
